I am so angry I just spent the past hour deleting spam off my blogs. One of my blogs had over 100 spam messages. What posses people to do this? Do they have nothing better to do with themselves? The cowards post it under anonymous grow a set of balls and put your name and url so I can come visit your ass and type in a bunch of crap. I hate spamers they should be shot in the hand or have their fingers ripped off.

I'm here! man talk about a long break feels like I was gone forever. I missed sitting here with a blank mind wishing I had something so totally awesome to say and ending up with a whole lot of nothing.

Well we just got back from Jersey last night traffic was horrible on the way up a 7 hour trip turned into 9 hrs. It was worth the wait though the news is AWESOME while we were there talking to Gillian that is her name she woke up and talked. How amazing is that?

She said hi and good morning I had tears and so did her parents. Since then each day she improves more and more. She has started eating smooth foods like pudding and apple sauce. She knows her age and has even done some math. She loves math, it makes me feel so good that she is doing so well. It is going to be a long road back for her but I am ever so hopeful that she will make a full recovery.

I want to thank all of you for your well wishes I am convinced you helped. I will keep you all updated on her progress.

First I want to thank all of you for your prayers for my friends daughter.

I received word this morning from them and the news is good. She went in for an MRI yesterday and the swelling in her brain has gone down. The swelling on her face is going down as well and she is looking more like herself. They have taken out the drainage tube from the wound and she moved her toes by herself last night. They are going to take out the breathing tube today to see if she can breath on her own.

We will be heading up to Jersey tomorrow or Friday morning to see her. I will update you all when I return.

Thanks again for keeping the family in your prayers I am sure it helped them.

My Friend Needs Your Well Wishes

I got some bad news this morning my friends daughter was in a car accident yesterday and is in a coma. She is only 12 years old her family is in need of all your prayers.

Her name is Gillian she is a A student and she is beautiful inside and out. I have known her since she was 4 years old her and my son started school together. I babysat her for 5 years and watched her grow into a wonderful young lady.

Please keep her and her family in your thoughts today.

I posted these pictures before but not for CC so I thought I would do it now since I have no other critters for you. This moth was in our evergreen next to the shed I think it is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen.

The poor thing was a bit sluggish being it was day time and he is only out at night. He fell to the ground trying to fly away.

On a different note I was not at all happy with the way my blog was looking so I decided to redo it again. I hope you like it I promise this is it for a long time or until I get bored again.

Let me see a little info about me
I am a mom of two of the most awesomest kids ever

The boy he is 12 and oh so handsome and I am not just saying that cause I'm his mom he really is quite the looker.

Baby girl she is 7 and oh so beautiful no take my word for it she is breathtaking.

I love love love music it is my passion if I could I would be a musician but unfortunately I can't sing or play an instrument. I can however bust a move when the mood strikes me I'm just saying.

I have been blogging for a little over a year now and have made some really awesome friends. Lately my blogging has been a bit on the slow side but I am slowly getting back into the groove.

I have 2 cats Stinky and Beauty and 1 dog Max 2 fish (no names) I love wildlife all of the furry little critters even the not furry ones. Frogs and toads are my most favorite they are just so cute and squishy. I have a small pool for them to lay their eggs in right now I have hundreds of tadpoles in it just waiting for their legs to grow.

Well I hope that I haven't bored you to death with the details of ME... I hope to see you here again sometime.....

Oh My Aching Back

My back is aching all the time it's hard to walk and spending almost 4 hours on the riding mower yesterday DID NOT help. I had to get the lawn mowed we are expecting rain all week and if I let it go until after the yard would have resembled a jungle. So I pressed on and man am I paying the price today.

My back hurts most of the time but today "oh my" I injured my lower back a long time ago while I was working at Wawa for those of you who don't know what that is it is a convenience store. I was working in the refrigerated unit moving around crates of milk. I had 5 crates stacked on a dolly and the dolly fell backward bending my back the way it's not supposed to bend. So here I am almost 20 years later and my back kills from time to time.

Anybody have any pain killers?

A Friendly Visit Update

Me and the kids had a great time with my friend and her kids. My kids were in their glory they each had someone to play with. My friend has two boys one 13 and the other is 6 so my kids stayed busy. The down side is now they want to go visit Jersey it's not that I don't want to visit Jersey I just don't want to leave my pets. The 2 cats would be fine but my dog Max he would not be I'm afraid. He is getting older and has never really been away from us so I am worried about leaving him with someone.

I would like to go see my parents and some of my friends some of them I could do without seeing. I haven't been back to NJ in almost 3 years I have seen my parents since then but it has been almost 2 years since then. I guess I will have to figure out how to make it happen.

My friend loved it so much down here she wants to move here she was looking for jobs and houses while she was here. I think it is because I taught her how to use the riding mower and now she wants one and the land to ride it on....But that's just what I think

I haven't been blogging because to be perfectly honest not a whole hell of alot goes on here. My life is a bit boring my days are all the same. Wake up drink coffee clean yell at the kids clean some more eat lunch yell at the kids again dinner. See same shit different day.

I am hoping to change all of that soon I have been trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I am doing research on going to school right now I am looking into real estate school. I think I may be good at it and it is something I can revolve around my kids school schedule sort of.

The down side of this is it costs a bit more money than I have at the moment. So I will have to wait a bit to come up with it. I am not discouraged though it will happen it is just a matter of time.

Going to school may be just the thing I need to get me out of my long lasting funk.Give me material to blog about and a life outside of being a wife and a mother. I need that to be a better mom and wife. I need to find me again to remember who I am as a person.

Sitting here in this house day in and day out has brought me to a place I am not to sure I like. I love being a mom I just miss being me. I look in the mirror at myself and I don't recognize my self not just physically but mentally.I used to never go out of the house without my hair fixed or make up on and now I could care less. I just throw on a hat and I am done.

Some really shitty things have happened to me in my past and I think I still let them bother me I know I shouldn't but I do. There are some things you just hold on to no matter how screwed up they are they change you make you someone who is untrusting and bitter.

I need to do something outside of the home to give me a chance to get back to who I am or maybe even find a whole new me. To help me get over issues I have been struggling with for years . I have learned to forgive the people who have hurt me but have not learned to forget and that is what I need to do to move on with my life. Get back the time I have lost feeling hurt and betrayed and start fresh.

And I am very sorry :( I have not been blogging or visiting any of my friends. I am going to honest here and say that I had lost interest in it. I wasn't getting out of it what I wanted or so I thought. I did make some wonderful friends here and for that I am most grateful. So I guess I did get more out of it than I ever imagined.

I am back now and hope that I did not lose any of my wonderful friends. I will be here tomorrow with my back to blogging post right now I have to go play Clue with my kids.

This is what you see when you look through my eyes at my giant fish. We have a 125 gal fish tank and only have 2 fish in it. Now why would we have such a huge tank and only 2 fish?Good question and I'm glad you asked. I bought my husband a new fish last year after his GIANT Albino Catfish died when I say giant I mean GIANT he was about 2ft long. He died cause we apparently got some bad feeders. Anyway I go to the store and see this cute little fish that is the size of a quarter it was a Pacu. I'm thinking I will get him for hubby to replace the catty. I knew he was going to get big no big deal our tank is big and we can handle him. The info on the fish was "the fish was a vegetarian" I got him with the intention on getting other fish for our tank.News flash he is NOT I repeat NOT a vegetarian. He was here less than a day and had eaten all the other fish in the tank.

Except for my Plecostomus (algae eater) who was larger than him so he couldn't eat him. The Pacu is now about 16 inches long and I could put other fish in the tank but they have to be either half his size or bigger. It's ok though the Pocu is pretty cool he has a personality he loves the bubbler that is in the tank.He likes to put the bubbler between his body and his fin it looks neat. He also knows when it is time to eat he comes to the top of the tank and I drop pellets into his mouth.

Dang Templates

I noticed yesterday that the template I was using and really liked was missing it's sidebar.So until I can fix it I am going to use my second choice. Please forgive the construction going on for the next few days.

I really need to figure out how to make my own templates using ones that were created by someone else sure seems to be a big pain in my butt. I am going to do some research and figure out how to do it myself. I hope it doesn't take me to long.

I fell in love with the frogs in the header they are so cute. Initially the banner in the middle of the frogs was blank I added my Lapadula house after I edited it on Picnik.

I found the template on BTemplates they have some really nice ones there for free. I was torn between a few of them but this one won out.

Jealous And Sad At The SAme Time

I'm sitting here thinking about how my life is going and nothing is as I had hoped it would be. We moved to NC 2 1/2 years ago because we were thinking things would be better for us. I think we were wrong! Granted we live in a much nicer house and have an awesome yard the kids are healthy (thank god) but money is so tight.

I have a friend who just put new hard wood floors in her house and got new furniture and 2 new cars and I am so jealous I could spit nails. I am happy for her and how well she is doing and I think she is deserving of all that she has but I still wish I was able to at the very least pay my bills. Not to mention buy myself a pair of shorts or something.

Is it wrong of me to be jealous?

I try hard not to be but when I come home and can't watch television because we couldn't pay the damn bill I want to cry. I know that having satellite is a luxury I should be thankful my electric is still on but none the less it still bothers me.

Hubby works so hard and is never home but the money he is making is barely enough for the groceries and a few small bills. The big ones are going unpaid and I can't do anything to help. Jobs are few and far between here and even if I found one who would I get to watch the kids?
Minimum wage here is $ 6.05 per hr. and with no college degree I am stuck with that amount. I would have to put the kids into daycare and that would take all the money I would make.

So what am I to do I feel so unhappy at this moment I could SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weekend In Review

Saturday was a busy day we did yard work I weeded the garden and hubby chopped wood for the winter months. I don't like wedding the garden because my garden heck my whole yard is filled with spiders and when I dig a hole out pops a spider. But the garden had become so overgrown it had to be done so I put on some gloves and went to work. It wasn't as bad as I thought I did run into a few of those creepy crawlies but way less than I expected. It looks so much better now.

Sunday we went to baby girls school to hear stories that the first graders wrote themselves. It was so great seeing all those little kids reading the stories that they wrote. Baby girl's story was called My Friend Lacey she read it like a pro I was so proud of her I had tears in my eyes.I guess that's a mommy thing. After all the kids were done reading the teacher had refreshments for all of us. It was a very nice thing her teacher did for the kids.

To Throw Or not To Throw? That Is The Question

I chose not to throw but I must say "Computer problems suck the big wet one" and today I had my fill. I was so mad, frustrated and down right pissed off... I tried for quite some time to go to visit my favorite blogs some of them I made it to and others refused to load. Finally after almost throwing the damn computer out the window I restored it back to factory.

I did get to download my music to my mp3 player and got most of my pictures onto Picassa but some of my files I couldn't save. My computer had completely froze up on me and I really had no choice. Oh well I guess you have to give a little to get a little what did I give well I gave some important files the boot and in return I have a computer that is running like NEW....

I have been here for quite some time getting all of my favorite places to visit into my firefox history like my Facebook page and my blogger account and last but not least some of my favorite blogs. I have not been to all of you butI will be there eventually so be on the lookout for me.

I must say I would recommend to all of you if your computer is acting a fool like mine was andyou are ready to toss it out of a ten story window STOP don't do it just bring that baby back to factory and she will be purring like a kitten once again. The only down side to this is trying to remember all the places you liked to visit maybe you should write them all down before you do it.Don't be like me driving myself insane trying to think where was that place again that had all the pictures of the hott dudes? JK I remember where it was and I am on my way there now see ya...

Paid Survey's And Work From Home Info

I have been doing some research for stay at home moms and where to go to look for work from home jobs. I personally am looking for such a job but am having no luck I am either not qualified for these jobs or I don't have the right computer. Meaning my computer is not up to the standards that the company requires.

So I thought that maybe some of my readers could benefit from the information I have found. The first place I have found that is full of information for stay at home moms is Women For Hire this site is run by Tori Johnson. Tori has been on Good Morning America and ABCNews.com you can find helpful information on this site everything from work at home scams to companies who hire at home workers.

About.com is another helpful site if you are looking for a work at home job. They list companies that hire people to work from their homes. About also hires blogger to be guides for them if you go here you will find a list of the topics they are currently looking to hire writers for.

I have had some success doing paid surveys although at this particular moment the paid surveys are few and far between. I work for Zoom I like their surveys but they DO NOT pay you they give you Zoom points. How it works is they send you an email letting you know that a survey is available for you. In the email it gives you details about the survey including the amount of points you can earn if you qualify for the survey. You click on the link it takes you to the survey you then answer some questions to see if you qualify. If you qualify then you proceed to the survey they range anywhere from 5 to 30 mins. Once you are done with the survey you receive your points. You can use your points to get merchandise. If you would like to join or find out more information go here.

I also do surveys for Survey Spot they do pay they have surveys that pay or you could get asked to join a focus group for money. I have been a part of 2 focus groups and both have paid me $10.00 each. I have been sent free new product samples form this company to try out and then to complete a survey telling them what I thought of the product. I think this company is pretty good I have no complaints so far. I have received 2 checks from them the checks were small but every dollar helps. Found The Problem

So I think I may have for sure fixed my computer I had forgotten my hubby bought me a Fix It Utilities. I ran it and found some problems in my registries whatever they are but that was not the problem. Well it was a little of the problem.

It turns out it was Mozilla Firefox causing all of the problem. Whenever I would close the MF window and come back later to get back on line it would tell me it was still running and I had to close it out to be able to start it again. How was I to close out a program when it was nowhere to be found? I removed it then reinstalled it but the same thing happened so I had to remove it completely and now am stuck using Internet Explorer. I really don't like IE it constantly has Java errors but at least I am able to visit my blog friends now.

I was using Google Chrome as well but I am not to sure how I feel about that. If IE keeps doing these java errors I may go back to the Chrome.

If I haven't gotten to you yet never fear I will be there eventually.

I think I fixed my computer it took me a long time but it is finally running better. I am not sure what was wrong with it besides the fact it had a virus.

I think it was more than just a virus though it was running sluggish and pages were taking forever to load.

I ran spyware scans and virus scans defragmented and disk clean ups delted cookies and removed programs. Almost everything you can do short of restoring it back to factory. Now it is running with a whole new sense of youth.

Keep your fingers crossed it lasts so I can go and do some much needed blog hopping.

Hi to all my bloggy friends just a quick note I have not been able to go to anyone's blogs to visit due to the fact that I have been bugged. Yes you heard me right my computer has been invaded and got a virus. I am in the process of getting rid of the nasty critter and will be back to visit you very soon.

Sorry about not being able to visit you all I do miss reading all of your postings. I can come to visit you on facebook if you have it. For some reason this virus is making it almost impossible for anyone's blog page to load. I tried to visit my friend Tammy's blog and after 10 minutes of waiting for the page to upload or download I am not sure what the proper term is. I finally gave up and tried to go to another blog and same thing.

So as soon as I figure out what the deal is and debug myself I will be back.

A Pain In The Foot And A Visitor

What a week to injure myself my friends is coming to visit this Saturday and I was in the middle of cleaning out my closets. I have linens all over the place and can't possibly hobble around to put them away. Normally I wouldn't care but it's been over a year since I've seen her and she is bringing her new fiance.

I guess I will have to use my child labor I have here I knew I had kids for some reason. I will have to put them to work and get them to finish the job I started.

Actually I think I will be able to do it by the end of the week my foot should be doing better . As long as I rest it for a few days it should be better (fingers crossed).

Oh yeah I did get that damn spider squashed him but I am positive his fiends and family will be here to take his place. Did I mention I HATE SPIDERS........

Yesterday just sucked I was on the hunt for a spider spotted it on the ceiling jumped up to squash it and landed on my foot wrong. I hurt my foot pretty bad can hardly walk I am hobbling around the house. My pinkie toe and the side of my foot are swollen I can't wear my shoes and I have to go out today and get my pets some food. Should be a blast walking around the store in my slippers. I am going to come back home and do just what this little fella is doing until it is time to get the kids off the bus.

Making A Life Change

I decided today to try and remember to take vitamins everyday. I say try because I am the worst at taking something everyday. I always forget to take it unless it is some kind of pain reliever or headache medicine.

The reason I decided to do this is because I saw Dr Oz on Oprah yesterday and he really has some good things to say. I have seen him on there before but after seeing the show yesterday I am convinced that where I need to start is with the vitamins.

I am starting there because I have no energy I wake up in the morning more tired than I was when I went to bed. Some of it is because I stay up way to late and get up way to early I am going to work on that. The rest of it is because I don't eat right or exercise so I am hoping that by taking the multivitamins it will help somewhat.

I then have to change my eating habits like no more chips or junk food That is going to be the hardest. Last but not least I have to get to the exercising get my ass back to my Wii fit again. Go for a walk just get out of this house and do something. I have taken one step into eating better I have started eating yogurt. I have never liked yogurt but one day decided to try Yoplait's Boston Creme Pie and it was delicious. Now I am hooked I eat their banana creme pie, harvest peach, cherry cobbler, and my new fav which is white chocolate strawberry. Good stuff......

I was sent this email with some delicious deserts under 300 calories go check it out.

After all I am going to be going to Disney (fingers crossed) and I need to look and feel better by then.

Where do I start? Oh I know I spent the weekend with hubby it was nice. We went to the talent show at my daughters school on Friday night.It was a blast seeing all those k-5th graders singing and dancing.The best was my daughter of course.... I don't have any pictures or video cause it was just to darn loud with all the audience members. Don't they know it is rude to talk while my kid is on stage. Or any other kids for that matter.

Saturday my daughter had a friend come over for her birthday they had so much fun. They got to decorate cupcakes and blow bubbles. They played dress up and did each others makeup and hair I am so glad she had fun.

Sunday we spent watching movies and hubby made homemade pizza.Have I mentioned that hubby is the BEST pizza maker ever? Well he really is so much so that our neighbor wants to open a pizza shop for hubby to make his pizza. Oh that would be a dream to have our own pizza place.

Hubby left this morning for Alaska he will be gone for 2 weeks :( stinks for us...

Oh yeah Tammy he will be passing through so if you wanna hitch a ride to come visit me just let me know. I will make some coffee for you

I am doing something today that I am not looking forward to

I am quitting smoking.......

Not by choice mind you but out of necessity money is tight and something has to go. So smoking is the first nonessential.

This is going to be the hardest thing I have been smoking for 26 years YES I started smoking at a young age. I was 12 when I started smoking the only time in the 26 years I didn't smoke was when I was pregnant.

I had my last cig this morning and I hope I can find something to do to keep my mind off of them

Wish me luck I am so going to need it.

Maybe I could join a motorcycle community to keep myself busy and keep my mind off smoking.

I like motorcycles and people who are in these groups are usually pretty cool and supportive of each other.

Let's Talk Perfume I am a fan of the fruity or flowery smelling kind. I am not a fan of the musky ones they are so not me. My favorite perfume is called Beautiful by Estee Lauder I just love it.

My favorite scent is Sweet Pea I just love it my second is Violet or maybe Rose oh gee decisions decisions.

Oh if there was a perfume that smelled like Hyacinths I would so but it I just love how they smell. They should have it after all they have Rose and Lavender and so many other flower smells. The Letter Game

Tina from Mummy Diaries had this neat letter game on her blog and asked if anyone wanted to play.Of course I volunteered cause I like games. She assigned me the letter L now I have to tell you 10 things I love that begin with the letter L.

Here is what you/me have to do:

Power Outages And Computer Meltdown

What's worse the fact that the power kept going out or the fact that when it was on my computer acted like it had a bug up it's ass? To me the computer acting crazy was what irritated me the most. I knew the power would eventually come back on but was not at all sure about the bug crawling out of my computers ass.

Luckily the problem with the computer was pretty simple to fix so there was no need for the murderous thoughts I had.

Now the thoughts were I hope the power stays on long enough to fix the problem.

The problem was my I.S.P. decided to reinstate their security without informing me and it was interfering with the security I had installed.So one of them had to go and seeing how theirs was way better than what I had the choice was simple.Bye, Bye, Bye fix it utilities....

Who Is This Murphy And Why Is He Bothering Me?

Have any of you heard of Murphy's Law?

Well who is he and why the hell has this little jerk decided to move into my house?
Or is it just a case of bad luck?

It all started lastnight when the satellite tv decided to go out 15 minutes before before The Closer was done. I get up this morning and the satellite is still out and now my desk top computer is not working

I am on the laptop right now and am not liking it very much all of my everything is on the desktop. So I am feeling so totally lost right now.

I called the satellite company and they said someone will be out tomorrow between 8am and 5pm. So my whole day is going to be spent waiting for them to arrive.

Will someone tel this Murphy guy to back off before I hurt him.....

I am going to be heading out and would really like it if he did not come in the car with me. I have to go to the pet store and get something to keep hubby's stupid fish from eating mine.

Pleco vs Piranha

I am having a bit of a delema with my fish and hubby's fish. My fish is the Pleco or Algae eater the black fish to you nonfish peeps. Hubby's fish is the Piranha or the silver one and he is eating my Pleco if you enlarge the second picture you can see his tail is half eaten.

I am the one who got the silver fish for hubby to replace the Piranha that had died. I got it because they told me it was NOT a Piranha but a vegiterian version of one. But surprise when I got it home it ate all of the other fish in the tank. Now he is munching on my Pleco and I am not a happy camper.

This is making me very mad I love my Pleco he is the coolest looking fish.

You can see the two of them here it looks to me like they are wrestling to get the food.

I think I may have to buy a tank divider so his fish doesn't kill mine.

Unless any one has any other suggestions for me? And YES I am open to some great fish recipes....

This week I am going to tell you about a blog I visit but have yet to meet the author. The blog is called Attack Of The Redneck Mommy
This blog is written by a crazy lady named Tanis from Canada she to my knowledge has never visited my blog normally that would bother me but in this case it's all good. Her blog is very popular and maybe she just doesn't have the time to visit all her commenter's. I completely understand getting more than 200 comments a day she would never be able to leave the computer.

The fist time I read her blog I was floored by her honesty and her story telling. I was hooked and go back as often as I can to see what she is up to. She talks about anything and everything nothing is held back. I know more about yeast infections now than before and way to much information about battery operated bedroom toys.

Tanis does do serious posts as well she talks about her son who passed away at a very young age.My heart goes out to her to be able to breath let alone write about it. Recently her post have been about the fact that she is trying to adopt a child which she writes about here

So if you have the time to pop over and read her blog you will not regret it. I will have to warn you her blog does have adult language and content.

Happy Birthday To My Dad

Today is my dad's birthday he is turning 64 and this is a huge thing.This May will be the 12th anniversary of his massive heart attack.We almost lost him that terrible day my mom says the only thing that pulled him through it was the birth of my son.The boy was born 2 weeks before his attack and mom says dad fought to make sure he could see my boy grow.I totally believe that they are very close my son has his pop pop's name as his middle name.

This first picture is me and my dad (mom in the background) during my brothers wedding back in the early 90's.I don't remember the exact date because I hated the bit*h he married so I have blocked that day out.lol Needless to say they are not together anymore.

This second picture my dad's sister took last year when she went to visit my parents.She sent it to me with an email saying "doesn't your dad look good".He sure does LOVE YOU DAD

This week I am going to talk about Sandra from Super Mae she is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of chatting with. I met her through another of my blog friends Tammy from Mom Knows Everything.

Sandra has 3 blogs but I am only telling you about one of them today I will save the others for another time.

Sandra has 2 children both boys she lives in Portgual I personally don't know where that is but I know it is far from where I am lol. It is my understanding that when Sandra started Super Mae she didn't know very much English. She now speaks better English than I do and I have done it all of my life.

I like to visit her blog to read about her boys who are adorable by the way and to see what she has to say.She writes about her life and always has something interesting to tell us. I am not going to tell you to much I want you to go and see for yourself.You won't be sorry.

Sandra and I chat often and it is like talking to someone I have known forever she makes me laugh. She is a great person and a good friend I am so glad to have met her.

No Ambition

I think I am going through a bit of depression lately. I haven't really wanted to do anything all I want to do is sit on the couch and veg. I'm not sure why I am feeling this way usually I'm pretty easy going and funny but not lately.

I need to figure a way to get myself out of this funk and do it soon. My body is paying the price I am not happy with the way I look but have no ambition to do anything about it. I can't for the life of me figure out why I don't do anything about it. Our neighbors invited us to go with them to Disney in Florida this August and all I can think about is the fact that it will be to hot. What will I wear that people won't see how overweight I am and still not sweat my ass off.

I am not thinking how fun it is going to be for all of us. What is wrong with me? I should be thinking about the look of joy on my kids faces not thinking about dreading the heat and humidity. Or the fact that I will have to wear shorts and sleeveless shirts.

Have any of you been through this? If so how did you get out of it?

What do I have to do to get some energy and get motivated?
