A Christmas Story Marathon To Help Us Remember Grandma

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and hubby's mom was a BIG fan of the movie A Christmas Story. I am not sure if you are aware of this but on Christmas Eve TBS has a marathon of this movie. For 3 years she would make us watch it so now since she has passed we keep her tradition alive. The movie starts tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. and runs all night and all Christmas day. Sure we do get tired of it but we do it for her.So here is the trailer I found on youtube

In loving memory of Grandma we miss you and love you Merry Christmas

In honor of your grandma, we'll be watching A Christmas Story, too. Also, a tradition at our house.

Well, it is the second greatest Christmas movie of all time, behind Love Actually, of course.

Aww.. that's a great thing to do to keep her memory alive esp for the kids.

I'm Muslim but my late grandma's a Christian. So we've been celebrating Christmas ever since we were babies. When my grandma passed away some 7 years ago, we still do the whole Christmas shebang.. and I'm in charge for Christmas dinner.

However, this year, I wasn't able to make it back home 'coz flights were full and I was down with a fever. So the family back home hadta go have Christmas dinner at a hotel instead. Sucks for me, though. All I had was homemade spaghetti that tasted so bland because of my flu/fever/sore throat.

Anyways, hope you guys had a really really great Christmas! Lotsa love to the children! :)
