The Christmas Spirit

We had our first snowfall of the season on Friday morning I am not sure but I think it is kind of early for NC.But doesn't it look lovely? It wasn't much just enough to put me in the Christmas spirit.

This is our wood pile for the fireplace which I have had to use a few times this year already.

This is a view of the woods behind our house see the snow covered tree tops it's so pretty.

This is our front yard see told you it wasn't much you can still see the grass. But it was enough to get me to do this look below.

This is my favorite thing to decorate my fireplace I have always dreamed of having a fireplace and now i do. I decorated it 4 times before I finally decided on this look what do you think? Do you like it? I tried to enlarge it but it comes out blurry I will take a better picture of it tonight and hope it comes out better.

My Autumn Fireplace

Well today was the day I was waiting for the first day of autumn and I was ready for it. I got out my fireplace decorations about a week and a half ago just waiting to decorate my fireplace. I always wanted to have a fireplace and now we have one. I always have candles and family photos on it but for Autumn and Christmas I spiff it up.

Now this is all the Autumn decorations I have for now I will be getting more as the years go on.When we moved I had to leave a lot of my Halloween things at my friends house.But you just wait until Christmas it's like a winter wonderland. I collect Santa's and have spent a bunch of $$$ on those so I made damn sure I brought all of them. So for now enjoy my Autumn fireplace but the day after Thanksgiving I will be putting up my winter wonderland to dazzle and amaze you.
