Me and the kids had a great time with my friend and her kids. My kids were in their glory they each had someone to play with. My friend has two boys one 13 and the other is 6 so my kids stayed busy. The down side is now they want to go visit Jersey it's not that I don't want to visit Jersey I just don't want to leave my pets. The 2 cats would be fine but my dog Max he would not be I'm afraid. He is getting older and has never really been away from us so I am worried about leaving him with someone.
I would like to go see my parents and some of my friends some of them I could do without seeing. I haven't been back to NJ in almost 3 years I have seen my parents since then but it has been almost 2 years since then. I guess I will have to figure out how to make it happen.
My friend loved it so much down here she wants to move here she was looking for jobs and houses while she was here. I think it is because I taught her how to use the riding mower and now she wants one and the land to ride it on....But that's just what I think

This week I am going to talk about Sandra from Super Mae she is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of chatting with. I met her through another of my blog friends Tammy from Mom Knows Everything.
Sandra has 3 blogs but I am only telling you about one of them today I will save the others for another time.
Sandra has 2 children both boys she lives in Portgual I personally don't know where that is but I know it is far from where I am lol. It is my understanding that when Sandra started Super Mae she didn't know very much English. She now speaks better English than I do and I have done it all of my life.
I like to visit her blog to read about her boys who are adorable by the way and to see what she has to say.She writes about her life and always has something interesting to tell us. I am not going to tell you to much I want you to go and see for yourself.You won't be sorry.
Sandra and I chat often and it is like talking to someone I have known forever she makes me laugh. She is a great person and a good friend I am so glad to have met her.

Meet My Friends Monday
Meet my friends Monday is a weekly meme brought to you by Toni from It Is Nap Time.This week for meet my friends Monday I wrote you a story to talk about my friends I hope you like it.
Once upon a time there was a beautiful young blogger named lapa37 (me) who decide to take a stroll around the blogosphere. Her walk lead her to Gossip Avenue where she ran into her friend Lady Banana. The two of them came across some blogs that were Simply Divine the two friends shared A Little Girl Talk. During their conversation they discovered they were On The Verge of becoming Super Mae. You know what that is right? It is a Mom Knows Everything kind of mom yup that's us.
Lapa 37 was the Game Freakz mom and lady B was the mom with Love In My Veins for her kids. While they were walking lapa 37 said "hey we should write this all down in our Mummy Diaries". This way we could look back at it one day when our memories are bad it could be My Sweet Escape from A Straight Jacket And A Padded Room. They laughed lapa 37 thinking about the nurses arguing over who was the one to be on The Poopie Patrol.
At that same time the two friends looked at eachother and said "It Is Nap Time right"? Lapa 37 said "I sure could use a nap to be well rested for my trip to The Cowboy Chronicals" (the local saloon in town) I plan on having some drinks so I can be a happy Posh Totty and flirt with all the boys. I am going to dance around like a Screaming Mimi and show them how to have fun.

My friend Toni from It IS Nap Time has started a new meme called Meet My Friends Monday it is a great idea. This week I am going to talk about my good friend Tammy
from Mom Knows Everything.
This is just one of her blogs I will talk about the others on other Meet My Friends posts. Mom Knows Everything is a blog about family life told by a wonderful lady. Tammy was one of the first people to comment on my blog when I thought no one was reading it.
The title of my post was Is Anybody Reading This? B/C no one had commented on any of my previous post except for one of my friends and this is what Tammy wrote.

Meet My Friends Monday
My friend Toni from It Is Nap Time has come up with this very cool meme called Meet My Friends Monday.
It is with sadness in my heart that I do this meet my friends Monday post.One of my favorite bloggers is no longer doing his blog.He had some personal issues that took him away from his blog and will not be coming back.I had sent him these questions last week with no idea of his decision to leave. I still want you to meet this blogger and see why I enjoyed visiting his blog daily. He made me laugh each time I was there without fail.

Slicksumbitch and he sure is one slick sum bitch and funny as hell too. His blog does contain adult content from time to time which I think is why I enjoy it so much. He is open and honest in his posts he tells it like it is and holds nothing back. I found his blog by accident I was on another blog called Attack Of The Redneck Mommy and he was doing a guest post there. I liked his post so much I visited his blog and was hooked and very surprised when he started to visit my blog. We occasionally send e-mails to eachother and even those are funny. So I decided to interview him for this post to let you all meet him and see what a clown he is.
ME: 1.How long have you been blogging? And why did you start?
SLICK: I have been "blogging" (GAY word) now for about 4 years? Hell, I don't know Tina.....I'm a man, remember? We suck at remembering dates! I started because I figured it would be a great way to express some creative writing without really hurting anyone. Except slutty Catholic girls.

SLICK: This is a tough one. I usually "bare it all" on my own site. Well, most of myself anyway. Ok, here's one....I am becoming a master at lip reading. I can't hear worth shit so I've picked up this special skill. I hate not being able to hear. Hate it, hate it, HATE it.
ME: 6.What made you decide to visit my blog for the first time?Was it my sparkling personality? Or do you just like to visit people who verbally abuse you?
SLICK: Ha Tina....I love people who can give it right back to me! It's no fun when everyone agrees all the time. Usually why I might publish a post that will draw some negative comments from time to time. It's actually healthy for a blogging relationship, from what I heard.

ME: 7.If you found a magic lamp and were granted 3 wishes what would they be?
SLICK: Damn, this is a hard one...
I'd wish for my family to retain it's good health. My second wish would be for a GSXR 1000 street bike and my final wish would be to walk in from work and find my wife and Jessica Alba in the living room butt ass naked.
ME: 8.If you could live anywhere in the world where would you choose and why?
SLICK: Hawaii...cause I'm a sucker for tropical weather and an ocean.
ME: 9.Why do you think your blog is so popular?
SLICK: Ppppffftt......I don't know where you get your stats from. Although I'm a lot funnier than Dooce, for some reason I tend to offend the religious zealots and the slutty Catholic girls. Oh, and gay folks. Have I ever mentioned I have a gay cousin? I like gay people....I also like slutty Catholic girls.
ME: 10.When you were in high school were voted class clown, most likely to succeed, or most popular?
SLICK: No shit...I was voted most popular. Look where that got me. A beautiful wife, 4 annoying ass kids, and debt up to my eyeballs.
I am very sad to know I will never get to read his crazyness on line again. His blog will be missed

Today I would like to introduce you to Octamom
I am not quite sure how I found her site but I sure am glad I did she is an awesome writer I am blown away with the way she writes. Not to mention how blown away I am that she even finds the time to do it with 8 yes I said 8 kids.
There are many things I admire her for her writing being one. I think the thing I admire her for the most is her patience I get flustered having 2 kids I couldn't imagine adding 6 more. My hat is off to her and I sing her praises.
When Octamom talks about her kids in her posts she refers to them as numbers for example 4 of 8 is her daughter recently she had to have surgery on her foot.Octamom took us through that journey with them and added some humor to the situation. Like when the cast need to be made bigger to relieve the pressure. I for one would not have known what to do but never fear Octamom is here. She came up with the most ingenious invention to make a shim out of Lego's yes you heard right I said Lego's you can read about it here.

Meet My Friends Monday 1st
My friend Toni from It Is Nap Time has started a new meme called Meet My Friends Monday it is a great idea. I am starting with Camera Critters it happens to be my favorite meme.No offense Toni!!!!
Camera Critters is run by Misty who has a few other blogs I will get to them on another meet my friends post. I love going to CC on Saturdays to see all the cute and not so cute critters that are there. I am an animal lover so this blog was a perfect fit for me (and as some of my friends call it my zoo).I have 1 dog,2 cats,1 guinea pig and 2 fish. So when I first saw this meme posted I couldn't wait to join it. I have seen some really interesting critters on this blog and even some critters I have never seen before. I have been doing CC for a few months and have no plans of stopping.

This is our neighbors dog his name is Lucky he is a 2 year old Lab who likes to come to our house to play with Max who is a 9 year old German Shepard mix. If Max isn't outside when Lucky comes to play Lucky will come to our front door and look in I think if he could knock on the door he would.
If you don't know this is Max he and lucky have become fast friends they play together it is so fun to watch them. The only down side to them playing is the age difference Lucky has so much energy that Max gets warn out from all the playing.

And today I have one of the very first friends I made doing a guest post for me. When I first started blogging I was scared that no one would read what I have to say. But one day I think it was my first or second post someone did comment and it was this wonderful lady you are about to meet. I was so happy to have someone leave a comment. Guess what she has been here ever since she is an awesome person and great blogger. I think of her as my mentor she has taught me a lot about blogging and has become a dear friend so without any further chatter from me I present to you Tammy I was going to link her blogs here but I see she has done that for me.See what I mean she is the best...

With Christmas coming up soon I thought it would be great to share some of my secrets to cutting costs at Christmas time. The first thing I do is always check for sales. This might mean having to walk around the mall a little or check the flyers, but it's an easy way to save money. Another great way to help with the costs at Christmas time to make gifts. Can you knit, crochet or do anything crafty? If not, a great easy homemade gift is to get a jar and layer the dry ingredients for cookies or brownies in them. Add a ribbon with the recipe attached and there you have a great homemade Christmas gift. Homemade baking is always a big hit whether it be cookies or chocolate dipped pretzels. Why not make a gift basket up of some small things you can make including, hot chocolate mix, a tin of home made cookies and spoons dipped in chocolate to mix up the hot chocolate.
I've always appreciated home made gifts more then store bought ones, it means the person giving the gift spent time thinking about me instead of just picking something up.

Be Safe Friend
One of my dear blogging buddies is awaiting hurricane Kyle to hit the area she lives in. Tammy I just want to say I hope all is well and I hope your family and friends are safe. I will be on pins and needles waiting to hear from her.
The weather is getting so crazy these days with droughts, massive hurricanes, flooding, enormous tornadoes. I don't like to watch the news because almost daily you hear of a weather related headline.
It is a scary time for all of us there must be something we can to do make it better.
But what?
Is it something we have done to mess up the climate or is it something that happens in cycles and because the world is so much more populated it just affects more people than it used to.
They say the human body changes ever several years is it the same for the planet?Are we just experiencing a change in the planet?
What do you think? Did we do this to ourselves or is it just a cycle that the planet goes through?

My New Look 2
I wrote last night about my friend Sassy and how she designed my new look.
