I Think I Like It

So I think I like it the new look of my blog that is.

What do you think?

I fell in love with the frogs in the header they are so cute. Initially the banner in the middle of the frogs was blank I added my Lapadula house after I edited it on Picnik.

Does it look good?

I found the template on BTemplates they have some really nice ones there for free. I was torn between a few of them but this one won out.

If you go here you will see the other one I wanted but I didn't like how it stretched out the post.

Changing Template

So I am supposed to give this blog a makeover today but since I just redid Music Mondays yesterday and it took me a few hours. I am waiting until tomorrow to do the makeover.

I got the free template from Blogger Buster if you have never been to that site you should take a look. She has so much helpful info for blogger blogs and quite a few free templates to download. She has a section telling you how to install the code and lots of other tutorials.

Changing your template takes a lot of work. I have learned that you need to have a test blog to try out the new template and you also use it to save all of your widgets. What I do is copy and paste all the codes onto the test blog upload the new template code then go and retrieve all of the codes. It does take a lot of time but not as much time as it would to try to remember all the widgets I had then go to the sites to redo all the info to get the code again.

Am I making any sense at all?

A Makeover

Ok so I am a person who gets bored of the same old thing. I want to thank Sassy for the template she made me I really do like it. I have it saved so when I get bored with this one I can go back. But for now this is the look I am feeling. I like it I added a whole new everything as you can see. I have pages now in the navigation bar where my friends badges, awards, home and about me section are.

It took me 2 days to do everything it was very tricky but educational. I haven't changed my badge as of yet because well I don't know how to yet....Plus some of you have said you like the old look so maybe I will just keep my badge the way it is for you. I'm sorry that I went against how you felt about the look but I just could get it to look the way I wanted it to. As of right now I am satisfied it feels like me.

I got my template design the 3 columns and how to add pages from Blogger Buster. I am also going to add tabbed sidebar navigation for archives as soon as I can figure that out.If you go to Blogger Buster you will see what I'm talking about. My header I got from Smashing Magazine I really like it to they have quite a few different free headers.


So how do you feel about it? Do you like the new look? What do you think I should change? I want to hear what you have to say.

I just love it!!!!

Sassy is the best she worked so hard on it and new exactly what I wanted. I told her she should sell them because Sassy really is talented.

I hope she does decide to do it.
