Weekend In Review

Saturday was a busy day we did yard work I weeded the garden and hubby chopped wood for the winter months. I don't like wedding the garden because my garden heck my whole yard is filled with spiders and when I dig a hole out pops a spider. But the garden had become so overgrown it had to be done so I put on some gloves and went to work. It wasn't as bad as I thought I did run into a few of those creepy crawlies but way less than I expected. It looks so much better now.

Sunday we went to baby girls school to hear stories that the first graders wrote themselves. It was so great seeing all those little kids reading the stories that they wrote. Baby girl's story was called My Friend Lacey she read it like a pro I was so proud of her I had tears in my eyes.I guess that's a mommy thing. After all the kids were done reading the teacher had refreshments for all of us. It was a very nice thing her teacher did for the kids.
