I Almost Forgot

Let me start off with DUH I forgot to show you a picture of my kids trick or treating.I only got to take one picture because dump me forgot to bring the camera so I had to take this picture with my cell. The kids had so much fun they brought along their friend. He is the one with his wig hiding his face.He insisted he didn't want to go because he was afraid that he would see someone he knows. He did of course see kids he knew and if you ask me he wanted them to see him. Each time he would see someone he knew he would shout out their name. Like hey look at me I'm here and I see you. Silly boy!!!!

Like I mentioned earlier we walked for 2 hours around this real expensive neighborhood and got loads of candy. It was so crowded there was more people than I could deal with. Kids everywhere some pretty cool costumes as well. It was a fun time though but man my legs were so sore the next day.Good thing it only comes once a year right? Hope you all had a good time as well.

I've Been Booed

kmommy from The poopy patrol has booed me this is such a fun idea here are the rules:
This is how the Blogging Boo will go. Go to as many bloggy peeps as you want and tell them they've been B00-ed! Have them link back to your blog to pick up their Halloween Treat (picture) and tell them to Boo their peeps. (Then put the pic in your side bar so everyone knows that you've already been "boo-ed and to send the pic to someone else). Watch your comments to see if you get booed!
I am putting up our carved pumpkins again because I am just so darn proud of how they turned out.

Pumpkin Carving

Last night we carved pumpkins for Halloween it was so much fun.

We started out with templates from a pumpkin decorating kit man if you haven't tried these it is so hard to follow the pattern. But the hardest thing is cutting out the design.

The kids were tracing the design with this little tool that pokes tiny holes into the pumpkin it leaves like a dotted line on the pumpkin flesh to follow with the carving tool.

Baby girl decided on a cat picture that she saw in there and the boy
chose a face. I helped baby girl and daddy helped the boy.

They really turned out better than I thought they would we tried to see how they would look with the candles in them but the kitchen was to bright.

So after it was dark we took the pumpkins outside to display our hard work. Don't they look cool?

I am so happy with how they turned out that I am thinking about getting more pumpkins to do more.
